Reporting to the Supervisor / Team Leader, The Drake Group Boilermakers are a well-respected and skilled member of the workshop team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Fabrication and welding of trailers and components and fitout of prefit routings for fitters to install Hydraulics, Air Systems and Electrics
• Work autonomously as part of a team
• Check and test work performed
• Maintain tools and equipment in an efficient and safe operating condition
• Follow safe work methods
• Carry out procedures to keep factory areas clean, neat and tidy
• Report non-conformance in work and materials and opportunities for improvement to the Workshop Supervisor

This role requires someone who can follow workshop drawings and perform testing, welding, fabrication and processing of steel products.

• 4 day working week available to Day Shifts roster (Mon to Thurs, Tues to Fri)
• 5-day traditional working week shift
• Afternoon shift
