August has been a busy month as the prep for our Open Day ramps up – make sure to mark your calendars for September 15. Despite being busy prepping for our big event, our trailer manufacturing hasn’t slowed down. Today we’re focusing on three great businesses – Aquaholics, Global Air and Ocean and National Heavy Haulage – and their three new trailers.
A Drake Trailers 4X4 Deck Widener for Aquaholic Water Cartage & Transport
Aquaholic Water Cartage and Transport wanted something unique. They opted for a 4X4 Deck Widener, which features independent hydraulic suspension, so they can level the trailer out on very uneven ground. Adding radio remote control to all functions including the rear steer axles, will help this Brisbane based transport company manoeuvre through all conditions.
An O’Phee Trailers BoXLoader for Global Air and Ocean
Global Air and Ocean are relatively new in the freight handling game, only launching their business back in 2013. Their business grew quickly in the Brisbane marketplace and now their one of the top Bondstore operators. To improve productivity and get a promised return on investment, Global Air and Ocean purchased an O’Phee BoXLoader – an innovative side-lifter with excellent light tare weight thanks to its high tensile chassis frame, quench and tempered 700 grade steel and new design light weight crane stabiliser leg design – the “Single” extension.
Other items that makes the O’Phee BoXLoader stand out from the crowd are the “all-in-one” combined fuel and oil and the new aluminium light-weight design tank. The container weights are also displayed on a colour screen, which is SOLAS convention approved.
A Drake Trailers 4X4 Full Widener for National Heavy Haulage
We see National Heavy Haulage a few times a year for another addition to the ever-expanding fleet. Last month they picked up a 2X8 Dolly, but this time around they’ve chosen a 4X4 Full Widener trailer. This hydraulic widening low-loader has maximum stability and unrivalled robust design for heavy duty conditions. It comes with a long list of standard features including hydraulic suspension, lockable tool boxes, horizontal spare tyre carriers and drop legs, along with a wide array of auxiliary equipment.
