Lew Harris Transport has been around the block more times than we can count, and a visitor to The Drake Group so often they’re part of the furniture. And we mean that literally – there’s even a Lew Harris Transport diecast collectible as part of the Drake Collectibles range on display in our showroom.
Lew Harris Transport has been in operation for over 35 years and are one of the most recognisable names in the industry. Operating out of Emerald, the company operates a huge fleet of trucks and trailers all around Australia to support heavy equipment moving jobs of all shapes and sizes.
That means everything from bulldozers, excavators, compactors, graders, rollers, earthmoving equipment, and every other type of heavy vehicle in between, all done with efficiency and professionalism. They also offer custom lifts across the country, which can test the abilities of even the most experienced operator.
So, it was great to see Lew back to pick up the latest addition to his fleet – a Drake Group 3X4 Drop Deck Lowboy. This perennial favourite has proven its value over the years with its low tare weight, design capacity of 35 Ton via its tensile frame and the ability to widen out the decks to 3.5m or up to 3.7m. The unique design gives it a level of versatility and customisability that few other trailers can match.
Upon their taking delivery of their new 3X4 Drop Deck Lowboy, we couldn’t resist the opportunity to take a photo of it with their Kenworth T908. They make a fantastic couple and we know they’ll serve the Lew Harris Transport team for many years to come.
We also snapped a shot of them with the replica Drake Collectibles diecast model just to show off the level of detail and accuracy we pack into every release.
Thanks to the entire crew at Lew Harris Transport for the continued support over the years. If you need a trailer that can handle the biggest loads, talk to The Drake Group today.
